It can be really helpful to have a cohesive branding kit. Your posts and merch will be instantly recognizable, and you can quickly convey who you are as an author. It also will hopefully make all the posting you have to do easier!

Graphic Templates

With personalized branded templates, you can create your own graphics with a streamlined aesthetic. You can use these graphics multiple times and customize them in Canva to fit your needs (changing book covers, dates, etc.). If you have an existing logo, color palette, typography, and/or assets, these will be incorporated. If you don’t have these, we’ll discuss a color palette, typography, and the aesthetic you’d like.

You can choose from a variety of graphic types, and the following lists are not exhaustive:

General Promo: author infographic, “find me,” customizable backgrounds, sale announcement, social media banner (add $5 for Instagram carousel)

Book Releases: cover reveal teaser, cover reveal, new release, trope list, ARC reader search

Author Updates: monthly goals, writing updates, Patreon monthly updates, publishing schedule

I offer kits at varying price points, and each one also comes with a color palette (up to 4 colors) and typography (up to 2 fonts). In addition to the chosen assets, each kit comes with a brand style guide, which includes all of the information you need to know about your color palette and typography.

Possible assets included in the branding kits: main logo, alt logo, sublogo, social media profile image, social media banner/cover image, blank 4:5 background in a coordinating design, blank circle background in a coordinating design, and a story or TikTok background in a coordinating design. The backgrounds allow you to more readily make your profiles and posts visually consistent. 

Process: After signing a contract that outlines the scope and timeline of your project, you will complete a questionnaire. I will then send you a color palette, typography set, and mock-up of the main logo for you to get a sense of my direction. You’ll let me know what you like and what you don’t. I will go back to the drawing board twice for major re-workings. I will move forward with this critique to create your full branding kit, which I will send to you. Once I have final approval and the invoice is paid in full, I will deliver your branding kit.
